Past, present and future challenges of HRM in V4 countries

Project partners

The success of companies depends largely on the ability of managers to manage themselves and the work of others. The result is the efficient use of all resources with increasing satisfaction of customers, employees and owners. Human resources are becoming an activating factor in the development of companies. If we examine the genesis of the development of opinions on the position of people in the work process, we state that the philosophy of HRM changed when theory and practice were formed in economics and management. More than thirty years passed since the beginning of the process of transformation of the economies of the Eastern bloc countries. According to some experts, it ends when the market economy regulatory mechanism is able to generate sustainable growth and when the structural distortions attributable to the previous economic system are removed. The above developments and changes have led us to try to know the level of HRM in companies in the V4 countries. Despite many similarities, there are significant differences between countries in almost all indicators. From the point of view of HRM, it is interesting to which processes companies devote their time and effort. This determines the level of HRM, which we would like to continuously increase with our findings and recommendations.
