Jump into the HRM waters

Kick-off meeting of 4 representatives discussing issues of HRM theory and practice from respective countries, project related schedule and responsibilities (deliverables, audience, promotion, etc.). The way of output dissemination will be approved during the meeting.

The online meeting will be organised by the Matej Bel University and project partners will be informed about the date, time and form of online meeting (MS Teams). 

Introducing the group and creating a research tool

Workshop organized by Faculty of Economics, Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica will serve to create and strengthen working relationships between project participants. The result will be proposals for a research tool to be used in obtaining relevant data. 

Questionnaire survey conduction

The data will be collected using the created questionnaire. The respondents will be HR managers, HR officers or other HR representatives of companies in all countries. The exact number will depend on their willingness to participate in the research. (The approximate ratio of respondents is calculated based on the size of the countries) 

Summarizing the results and formulating solutions

Workshop organized by Silesian University will focus on evaluating the results and taking a stand on them, formulating possible improvements in HR in individual countries. At the same time, the partners share tasks in presenting the findings and identify possible periodicals and other platforms for disseminating the results. 

Online Focus Group creation and panel discussion

The panel discussion will be used to present the first partial results of the questionnaire survey, to compare the results with the opinions of experts in the field and to formulate proposals for further evaluation of the results and recommendations for practice.

Differences in HRM in V4 countries

These are some of the results of the project. The main aim is to publish 3 articles in renowned scientific world journals. Such quality publication outputs are a prerequisite for informing the scientific public about the current state of HRM in the V4 countries. At the same time, they increase the quality level of scientific work of the involved persons and participating universities, because renowned scientific publications are one of the main indicators of the quality of higher education worldwide. 

Differences in HRM at bilateral level

These are also some of the results of the project. The aim is to publish bilateral comparisons of the level of personnel work in scientific journals. 

What have we learned, what do we face?

Workshops organised by project partners in individual countries where expert talks will be delivered on current topics of HR. The aim of this workshops is to provide university teachers with newest trends in HRM, to increase participants´ interest (university students, lecturers and company managers) into challenges of strong regional labour market development and to discuss the preconditions of quality of life of employees, along with growing satisfaction and motivation. 

General public must know!

Promoting the results of the research in plain language on commercial HRM websites, on the websites of organizations associating HR managers and/or specialists, in professional journals focused on HRM issues and directly to the respondents (if interested).

The results will be presented in easy-to-understand language using charts, trends, figures, etc. to make the presented result as attractive as possible. The main result will be sent via e-mail to the organizations who requested the results in data collection phase.
